Summer Day Camps

BGC Saskatoon operates five summer day camps during the summer months. Registration for summer 2025 will be available on Monday, March 3rd at 9:00am!

BGC Saskatoon summer day camps offer registration on a weekly basis for children and youth. Summer day camps provide a safe, supportive environment where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.

Attendees and camp leaders spend as much time outside as possible – weather permitting! Camps use their surroundings (parks, lakes, pools etc.) as a base for their programming. Together, we will explore areas around Saskatoon, Beaver Creek and Pike Lake, depending on which camp you choose! Summer day camps use weekly themes to provide a fun and engaging experience that encourages making new friends and activities such as arts & crafts, games, field trips, exploring nature and local parks, and lots of physical activity!

Saskatoon Camps: Children must be between the ages of 5-12 to attend.

Pike Lake & Beaver Creek Camps: Children must be between the ages of 6-12 to attend.

We offer fee-for-service camps on a weekly basis (see specific camp locations below for pricing).

Summer Day Camp Supply Information

CAMP SUPPLY LIST: Ensure your child’s belongings are labelled. Parents will be sent a detailed camp guide before camp begins. 

  • Water bottle
  • Bathing suit & towel (as requested on weekly schedule)
  • Hat
  • Footwear/clothing that is comfortable and allows child to fully participate in all activities (preferably no flip flops)
  • Sunscreen 
  • Insect repellent
  • Lunch and snacks *ensure lunches and snacks are peanut/nut free* 
  • Backpack to store belongings
  • Camp staff may request other supplies based on the weekly schedule – please see your reminder email or the notices posted at camp.

Summer Day Camp Registration

Please note that only legal parents/guardians may complete registration for their child.  A credit card must be provided at the time of registration. 
 
Each summer day camp location has a unique registration link (see below).  You are welcome to register in more than one camp location however you will need to register for each location separately.  During registration, you may be asked to include verification of your child’s vaccination records – BGC Saskatoon does not require this information so please disregard this step (we are unable to remove this from our registration system at this time).
 
Registrations will require parents/guardians to complete a Waiver of Liability and payment as described below in order to be completed.
 
Payment Information:
For registrations received on or before May 25, 2025:
 
1. Payment may be made in full at the time of registration, OR a payment representing a deposit of $50 per week per child will be required for registration. This deposit will be deducted from the weekly camp fee which will be processed as described below. If a cancellation is required, the deposit will be used as your administration fee (see refund information below). The credit card information used to pay the $50 deposit will be used to process the remaining camp fees as follows:
  • Payment for all camps registered for in July will be processed June 2nd, 2025.
  • Payment for all camps registered for in August will be processed July 2nd, 2025.
2. If fees are not paid in full by the due date, the child will be withdrawn from the camp.
3.  Registrations processed after May 25th will be required to be paid in full at the time of registration.
 
Refund Information:
Partial fee refunds (less a $50.00 administration fee per child per camp) will be provided for cancellations submitted at least 2 weeks before the first day of camp. Payment processing fees will not be refunded.
 
No refunds will be provided for cancellations submitted less that 2 weeks before the first day of camp.
 
Cancellation requests must be submitted to office@bgcsaskatoon.com and include the child(ren)’s full name, camp dates selected and camp location. At the discretion of management, multiple change requests to the week and/or location for camps in which children are registered, may be subject to an administration fee.
 
Additional Fees
– NSF/Declined Payment fee: $25.00
– Late Pick-up fee: $50.00 per half hour
– Processing fee for per camp registration payment:
→ Credit Card: 3.9% + 0.30 cents (NOTE:  International Credit Cards:  4.5% +0.30 cents)

BGCS West

Fees:  Regular Week $185.00 (5 days), Statutory Holiday Week $150.00 (4 days), Week 1 (July 2-4) $125.00

Transportation:  Children are dropped off/picked up at designated locations.  Camp staff will be on location 15 minutes before pick up time – please ensure staff are on site before you drop off your child.  You will choose locations during the registration process.
